FEDS Drone Academy — academy.feds.group

Operated by Falcon Eye Drones DMCC

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FEDS Drone Academy platform at academy.feds.group (the "Platform"), operated by Falcon Eye Drones DMCC ("FEDS", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

By registering for an account, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility and accounts

To use the Platform you must be able to enter into a legally binding agreement. Certain courses have minimum age requirements: recreational pathways are open to trainees from the age of 16, and other pathways require you to be at least 18. Trainees under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

When you register, you must provide accurate and complete information, including a genuine identity document, and keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

We verify the identity of trainees as part of regulated pilot training. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access where information provided is inaccurate, where documents cannot be verified, or where these Terms are breached.

3. Enrolment, documents, and declarations

To enrol in a course you may be required to upload supporting documents (for example, an existing or prior UAS licence) and to accept a declaration confirming that the documents you provide are genuine, accurate, and belong to you.

You acknowledge that providing false, misleading, or fraudulent documents or information may result in refusal or revocation of certification without refund, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

Verification of your documents is completed by FEDS. For certain courses you may begin your lessons after payment, but your certificate will only be issued once your documents have been verified.

4. Fees and payment

Course fees are displayed on the Platform and are stated in UAE Dirhams (AED). Fees are inclusive of VAT where applicable, and a VAT invoice is provided.

Payment for online courses is made by card via our payment provider, Stripe. For other courses, available payment methods are shown at checkout. Your enrolment is confirmed once payment is received and, where applicable, your seat and eligibility are confirmed.

Where a seat is reserved pending payment, it is held for a limited period. If payment is not completed within that period, the reservation may be released and the enrolment cancelled.

Certain fees, such as regulator-set certification fees, may be fixed by the relevant authority.

5. Rescheduling and refunds

Our rescheduling and refund terms apply to enrolments and are presented to you at the time of payment. The current policy is: 90% refund (full fee less a 10% administrative fee) if cancelled 5 or more days before the course start with no prior reschedule; 50% refund if cancelled 2–5 days before; no refund if cancelled less than 2 days before, or for any trainee who has previously rescheduled. One self-service reschedule is permitted up to 3 days before the course start.

You accept the rescheduling and refund policy when you make payment.

6. Delivery of training

Courses are delivered online (self-paced), in person, or as otherwise described on the Platform. For online courses, access to lessons is provided after payment. Course content, schedules, venues, and instructors may be subject to reasonable change.

We aim to provide training of a high standard consistent with our DCAA approval, but we do not guarantee that any trainee will pass an assessment or obtain any particular certification, as this depends on your performance and on meeting the applicable requirements.

7. Assessments and certification

Assessments must be completed honestly and in accordance with the rules provided. We may void an assessment or withhold or revoke a certificate in cases of misconduct, misrepresentation, or failure to meet requirements.

Certificates issued by FEDS confirm completion of FEDS training. Where a certification is recognised by a regulatory authority, that recognition is subject to the authority's own requirements. We share certification and training data with the relevant authorities as described in our Privacy Policy.

Certificates carry a unique number and a public verification link. Certificates remain the record of FEDS and may be verified or, where warranted, revoked.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and not to: provide false information; access another person's account; attempt to disrupt, probe, or circumvent the security of the Platform; copy, resell, or redistribute course content; or use the Platform in any way that breaches these Terms or applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

All course materials, content, branding, and software on the Platform are owned by or licensed to FEDS and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own training. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the content without our written permission.

Certificates issued to you are for your personal and professional use; the underlying templates, seals, and branding remain the property of FEDS.

10. Third-party services

The Platform relies on third-party services including Stripe (payments), our hosting and email providers, and third-party sign-in providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services beyond our reasonable control.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FEDS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you breach these Terms, if required by law or a regulator, or to protect the Platform or other users. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination, including our regulatory record-keeping obligations.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Platform and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
